Friday night Angela (Travis' sister) came in town to stay with us for the weekend! We had so much fun catching up and just hanging out together. Friday night we grilled burgers and chilled at home. Saturday we went lunch at the Orient Express and then to World of Coca Cola museum. So much fun!!! I have been before but it was Travis' & Angela's first time. We learned all about Coke. From where it all started, who invented it, and how it's made. A few fun facts: John Pemberton invented Coca Cola in Atlanta, GA. Rights to bottle the drink was purchased by 2 men from Chattanooga, TN for $1.00. WOW!!! Diet Coke has only been around since 1982. Ok enough Coke facts. We enjoyed trying all the different Coke flavors from Africa, Asia, Europe, and Latin America. There were a few really good flavors but Beverly from Italy is terrible!!! So gross!! Blah!! Can't even think it! As you're leaving they give you a free bottle of Coke. Pretty neat!!
Afterwards, we headed to Ikea! Imagine that?!! :) It was Angela's first time going and her roommate told her she had to try their cinnamon rolls. Of course, most important thing!! We bought a few things and then headed back home.
Sunday, we cook a good lunch and then went shopping at the mall. Just a fun, relaxing day. Angela decided to stay another night and she left at 6:45 this morning!!
I'm glad she was able to come and visit us. We don't get to see her a lot since she lives in Nashville and is in nursing school now. Hope to see you soon A!!
