Girls Trip 2010

Last Thursday Holly, Elizabeth and I left ATL and headed to Hilton Head, SC. We had great weather the whole way down and we talked non stop. Well, I did nap a little and woke up just in time for a blizzard stop at 11:00 AM. Love me some DQ. We got to HH about 1:00 pm and we went straight to the beach. It was so nice just to sit and relax. It was really windy but still perfect weather for us. The first night we ate at Hudson's. We ate fried shrimp, fried green tomatoes and so many hushpuppies that we all had tummy aches before we even left the restaurant!!

Friday we got up and went shopping at the Tanger Outlet malls. We each got a few things and then found a cute cardigan at Ann Taylor so all 3 of us bought it. :)

Christmas Card 2010?!

The rest of the day we just hung out at the beach and pool. We ate dinner at an Italian restaurant and it was really good! But I can't remember the name of it. :( After dinner we went to Pino Gelato for dessert. Very tasty!! When we got back to the hotel it was time for Phase 10. We started a game on Thursday night but we were so tired that we stopped playing. We turned on the radio and found Delliah and I think she put us all to sleep with her crazy romantic advice that she gives!! HAHA Liz came back and won the game!!

And we're off to the beach...

At some point in the day a baby crab got into our bathroom??!! We think maybe it was from Holly's bathing suit since she was in the ocean but we're not really sure.

Saturday we got up and went to the beach. It was really overcast but we still got a lot of sun! Holly's sister, Laura now lives in Charleston so she came over for the day to hang out. We found a cupcake store near our hotel so of course we had to try one after lunch. The red velvet was soo good!! I will defiantly make another trip to Sweet Carolina cupcakes! We went back to the beach awhile and came in around 6:00 pm and got ready for dinner. We had dinner at the Crazy Crab in Harbour Town. The food was delicious and the area was beautiful! The Lighthouse was so neat because it's right there in the middle of everything. Afterwards we went over to the Salty Dog Cafe and got t-shirts and some ice cream. So fun!! The night ended with a very close game of Taboo. Laura stayed the night and she was such a good sport playing with us. I confessed that I get really nervous playing Taboo because Holly, Liz and Jessica are so hard core when they play!! Even though Jess wasn't even there I still felt sick. They make me a nervous wreck!! It's been so long since we have played and at first we weren't doing too well but we finally caught on and Laura and Holly beat me and Liz by 1 point!! :(


We had a wonderful time in HH. We laughed so much we were crying at times. We missed Jessica a lot but hopefully she can come on our next trip to DISNEY WORLD!!! Maybe?! Who knows if we'll go there but it came up so we'll see.
